Burnley manager Vincent Kompany was suspended for 2 matches for his red card against Chelsea on March 30.
He will immediately be banned for one match and the second match suspended until the tip of the 12 months.
Kompany was sent off for protesting the penalty decision that led to Lorenzo Assignon’s sending off.
The Belgian later said what the usual of refereeing is on this 12 months’s Premier League “wasn’t good enough.”
The former Manchester City captain (38), who pleaded guilty to the costs, was also fined £10,000.
Shortly before the break at Stamford Bridge, Assignon received a second yellow card for a foul by Mykhailo Mudryk within the penalty area.
Burnley are nineteenth within the Premier League, six points adrift of safety.
The Clarets hosted Brighton at Turf Moor on Saturday and Kompany is serving a one-match suspension.
More to look at.
