This new 144-foot superyacht wants to be a high-seas SUV.

The Italian shipyard, which specializes in building custom cruisers, unveiled the first model in a new line of sport utility yachts. Meeting the growing demand for vessels capable of reaching the greatest distances in style, the new SUYs offer impressive seakeeping, comfort and luxury.

Designed by Antonini Navi partner and sales director Aldo Manna and designer Fulvio De Simoni, the inaugural model spans 144 feet and tips the scales at around 480 GT. Just named SU 135, the superyacht has sleek and traditional steel exterior lines. In fact, the strong and sporty profile is not dissimilar to the Range Rover.

The yacht can naturally be fully customized inside and out by the owner. In the proposed interior layout, the central and upper decks are connected by a raised deck with a small staircase. The nearly 600-square-foot owner’s suite takes pride of place on the main deck, while four en-suite guest cabins are located on the lower deck.

Outside is a 430 square foot veranda with an alfresco dining area protected from the elements by the upper deck. Further aft, the spacious Beach Club is centered around a stunning transom Jacuzzi that overlooks the sea below. Nearby sits a large transversal tender garage that houses a 23-foot RIB and water toys galore. Upstairs, the sundeck is furnished with a bar, dining table, sunpads and another Jacuzzi.

SUY 135 should also go well with your complexion. The newcomer has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots and can reach 16 knots at full tilt. It is also equipped with zero speed stabilizers to ensure comfort on the water.

“Just like an SUV in the automotive world, the SUY offers the vehicle an opportunity to experiment without limits,” Manna said in a statement. “The idea was created to allow the owner and his guests to enjoy their boat in 360 degrees, with toys, amenities, tenders, and any other means that offer the sea and its sights. May be suitable for sports and recreational activities.

The first SUY 135 1 is already under construction, with delivery scheduled for 2026. Antonini Navi will soon introduce SUY 190 and SUY 108 to complete this range. Keep watching.
