Looking back, I can not imagine how much time I spent doing my makeup day-after-day in my 20s. I sat at my desk for over half an hour rigorously mixing different eye shadows to create a smokey eye effect, then applying a pointy, winged eye shadow (and that was just scratching the surface). There’s nothing flawed with going full glam, but in recent times I’ve realized that each one you actually need is a couple of good products to get the job done in five to 10 minutes. One key element of my quick but reliable treatment regimen? Liquid blush. They’re easy to make use of, exceptionally pigmented, and make you look wide awake—yes, even should you stayed up way too late the night before scrolling through TikTok. And this spring, I even have some recent, must-have formulas in my arsenal that I’m sharing with you.
My latest discovery is Saie’s Dew Blush liquid blushh in delicate pink. Just apply a bit in your cheeks, mix it along with your fingers or a sponge and boom – you are done. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand within the brand’s signature Pillow Talk shade, which has turn out to be one other must-have makeup item this spring (pictured below). Providing a sun-kissed finish, this baby might make your peers think you’ve got just returned from every week within the tropics within the Bahamas – trust me.
Below you will find my current liquid blushes for spring, in addition to other products I exploit with them.
Advanced light reflecting skincare foundation
I began using the NARS Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation a few month ago and I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I just like the formula. Since I’m susceptible to redness, I often reach for something that covers. However, this medium coverage foundation evens out my skin tone with only one layer.
Movie star Bronze and Glow
With a dual compact and shimmery finish, Charlotte Tilbury’s Filmstar Bronze & Glow is one in all my sacred makeup products. So much in order that I’ve probably had three of those over time.
Always An Optimist Soft powder that fixes shine
Once I’m done using liquid products, I calmly dust my T-zone with Rare Beauty Setting Powder for a shine-free look.
Illuminating dewy skin mist
I won’t lie – at $49, this hair hold spray will make a bit dent in your wallet. But if you have got the means to splurge, I highly recommend you accomplish that – spray on and you will see why (hello, dewy skin).
Paint within the cloud
You know a product is definitely worth the hype if it stays relevant for greater than five years. Such is the case with Glossier’s cult favorite Cloud Paint, which hit shelves in 2017. I especially like Dusk (a brownish nude) because it gives my fair skin the proper pop of color.
Dew Blush Liquid blush
If you are only buying one recent blush this season, that is an important candidate IMO. It offers an important, flushed look – but not the type I’d get from presenting a project at college (*sigh*).
Bionic Liquid Blush with hyaluronic acid
If you favor a natural finish, Milk Makeup’s Bionic Liquid Blush is for you. The long-lasting formula, with ingredients resembling hyaluronic acid and reishi mushrooms, is subtle yet stunning. Note: Somewhat goes a great distance, so I suggest starting with a small amount of product and dealing your way up.
Matte Beauty blush wand
As you’ll have noticed, I’m huge Stan Charlotte Tilbury. It’s no wonder that I immediately fell in love with this brand’s Matte Beauty Blush Wand. I apply it to my cheekbones and nose and my skin immediately looks refreshed and rested.
Afterglow liquid blush
NARS Afterglow liquid blush can be recent to my spring makeup. My thoughts thus far? I’m a giant fan due to its buildability and impressive colours. It also doesn’t hurt that it comprises skin-friendly ingredients like hyaluronic acid and vitamin E.
BYO BLUSH Color-changing blush oil
This color-changing blush is a pioneering Youthforia product that works like magic in a bottle. How it really works: Although the TikTok-famous oil turns transparent, it reacts to your skin’s pH level, providing the proper pink color for your complexion.
