When Dyson launched the Supersonic in 2016, it turned the humble but hardworking hair dryer into a status symbol. Suddenly, everyone from A-listers to celebrity hairstylists to your favorite co-worker got one and bragged about it on Instagram. And if you didn’t, you were on the waiting list for the next restock. It’s even become a storage dryer in boutique gym locker rooms, considered a convenience to entice you to become a member. Now, Dyson is upping the ante with the Supersonic Noural Hair Dryer, a technologically advanced version of the beloved original.
Aesthetically, the Nooral is just as sleek, stylish, fast, and quiet but with a few extra (helpful) bells and whistles. The biggest upgrade is the scalp protection mode that automatically adapts heat and airflow levels based on how close you hold the dryer to your head via built-in neural sensors. In turn, the feature helps increase shine, moisture, and reduces scalp and heat damage. You’re also now able to lock your heat and airflow settings and the dryer will remember your preset selections for different attachments. Another helpful update? When you set up the tool in your bathroom, the air flow automatically reduces so that the beauty products on your counter don’t blow away.
Speaking of attachments, the Wave+Curl diffuser is also new and improved. Now it’s a two-piece tool that can be used to define waves, curls and coils, or as an expanding bowl with downward airflow to enhance waves and shock without curl patterns. Is. Other attachments you know and love come with the Supersonic Nural but there are many small design tweaks. These include the Gentle Air Attachment, Styling Concentrator, Wide Tooth Comb, and Flyaway Attachment. It is important to note that only the Gentle Air Attachment and Styling Concentrator are equipped with Scalp Protect Mode.
So if you’re looking to upgrade your existing blow dryer that’s hanging on for dear life or you want to avoid the dangers of heat and scalp damage without adding extra steps (or thought) to your hair care routine. Want to reduce Noural may be your solution.
The Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer comes with five attachments and will be available starting May 2 for $500. You can sign up. Here For updates on launch.
