The baseball cap became a key piece of evidence in the Daddy case.


A lawsuit against Sean “Daddy” Combs claims he allegedly had a secret code that let sex workers know he was in town in the form of a baseball cap.

The 54-year-old music mogul is under intense scrutiny after Homeland Security Investigations raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami on Monday as part of a sex-trafficking probe.

Combs has also been the recipient of several civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and trafficking, including the most recent lawsuit by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.

Jones filed the lawsuit in February and filed an amended lawsuit in court on Monday. He claims he was psychologically affected after living with Combs for 13 months while working for Combs. The Love Album: Off the Grid Starting in 2022.

Jones accused Combs of allegedly partying with underage girls, grooming Jones, forcing her to use drugs and allegedly lying about the shooting. Jones also claimed that Combs spiked her drink with a “date-rape drug” and facilitated a “sex-trafficking scheme,” where the mogul forced Jones to find her a sex worker. He also accused Combs of forcing Jones to have sex with him.

Jones also detailed how he would allegedly buy sex workers, particularly at a Miami strip club called Bobby’s Trap on the River.

“As part of Mr. Jones’ sex worker recruitment tools, Mr. Combs provided Mr. Jones with a special Bad Boy baseball cap,” the lawsuit states.

“They asked him to wear it to Bobby Trap on the River to signal to any sex worker he contacted that Mr. Coombs was in town and that he hired Mr. Jones. Sent.”

The lawsuit also alleges that “these workers were accustomed to serving Mr. Combs and would know he was in town by looking at the Bad Boys baseball cap.”

Bad Boy refers to the record label Combs started in 1993. The label signed big names over the years, including the late rapper, Notorious BIG It is now owned by Warner Music Group.

Jones claimed that he did not want to go to the strip club and that he did not want to find sex workers for Combs, but according to the lawsuit, Combs allegedly did “very much to maintain dominance and control over Mr. Jones.” “Used tactics.”

Three alleged sex workers were named in the lawsuit, and two spoke after the amended lawsuit was filed. The names were City Girls rapper Young Miami and models Jade Ramey and Daphne Joy, who shares a child with rapper 50 Cent.

The lawsuit claimed Combs would brag about paying women a “monthly stipend” for sexual services.

Joy denied the allegations in an Instagram post.

“I am deeply saddened by the lies in the Rodney Jones lawsuit. The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character-defying. I have retained an attorney to seek all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney. I am,” read his post.

Ramey shared a post on her Instagram story, and while she didn’t address it directly, the post read: “Pure hearts always win in the end. The light is real.”
