Yes, the mask. What comes to mind when you think of the word “Razer”, right? You probably associate the brand with gaming keyboards and mice. Heck, I just put a Razer mouse in my work computer. it’s awesome. But the company didn’t have masks, and that’s a problem.
Razer got into trouble with the authorities for not properly testing and testing their N95 masks, but the whole story got us thinking. In an age when we’re seeing tiny electric cars, AI handsets and pins that don’t live up to expectations, and even masks that don’t quite mask as promised, are we living in an age of half-baked hardware? are
Thinking about it, I wonder if a problem at play is that people are pushing the limits of what we can build, and how quickly, with software strategies – MVPs, quick iterations, etc. – are implemented in hardware, and it’s not changing at all.
