CEO of an Illinois tech firm have died After the company fell into a solid phase in a program in India.
Software company Vistex CEO Sanjay Shah and company president Vishwanath Raju Datla were being lowered onto the stage in an iron cage meant to recreate the shape of a hot air balloon basket when a cable apparently snapped. Two fell 15-20 feet to the ground.
Shah succumbed to his injuries and died. Raju Dutla’s condition was critical till late on Saturday. The Times of India reported..

The night was supposed to be a celebration for Vistex, which was celebrating its 25th.Th Anwari Shah founded the multinational company in 1999. About 700 people were in the audience.
Police in India are investigating whether the event’s host venue, Ramoji Film City Studios in Hyderabad, was negligent at the time of the accident. A complaint by Vistex reportedly said it took event organizers about 20 minutes to arrange for an ambulance to take the injured to hospital. Raju Datla was taken in a private car.
Shah, 56, built a company that now has 20 offices worldwide with more than 2,000 employees. Vistex specializes in offering revenue management software.
