Sofia Richie Grange has been slammed by critics on social media after confirming that her five-month-old daughter, Elvis, already has an iPhone.
The 26-year-old model opened up about her daughter, who she shares with husband Elliott Grange, on Thursday’s episode. Therapuss PodcastWhich was hosted by social media personality Jack Sheen.
Shane, 25, was to spill the beans that Eloise had her own “toddler phone”, and shared a text conversation with the infant – that is, by proxy.
“Elvis has a little baby phone, which we text, or I like to text,” Shane revealed.
“She does!” Richie confirmed, before Shane gave an example of what he liked to tell the little kid. “I say, ‘Good morning, Eloise!'” he explained.
But like many celebrity Instagram accounts, Eloise isn’t actually the one operating or controlling the phone.
“Whoever is with Elvis gets the phone,” explained Richie Grange. “So, at that very moment, [friend] Ali [Meller] She was sitting with Elvis.
Shane then shared a message he sent to Eloise’s phone on Thursday before the podcast recording.
“I said, ‘Do you mind if your mom and I talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?’ And she said, ‘No, take my name out of your mouth.’ And I said, ‘I’m sorry, Elvis.’ She said, ‘I hate you.’
“We were talking,” Richie Grange replied angrily.
“Elvis has a bit of an attitude,” Shane replied.
Some on the Internet were horrified that Baby Eloise already had a phone, though it’s unclear if critics considered the significance of the situation.
