Apple TV has released a teaser and premiere date for the upcoming Seth Rogen series, for which the actor also serves as writer, director, executive producer and star.
Apple will debut its first two episodes on TV+ on Wednesday, March 26, followed by weekly releases through May 21.
Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of the show’s troubled Continental Studios.
Here’s the logline: “As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of embattled executives confront their own insecurities as they challenge narcissistic artists and corporate overlords to make great movies. With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of dread, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show brings them great success or career-ending. Destruction As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, this is what Matt has been doing his whole life, and it could very well destroy him. ”
The series also guest stars Kathryn O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barenholtz and Chase Sui Wonders, along with Bryan Cranston.
Rogen shares credits with Peter Hack, Alex Gregory and Evan Goldberg. Point Gray Pictures’ James Weaver, Alex McAtee and Josh Fagan also serve as executive producers along with Rogen and Goldberg.
The project is Rogen’s latest collaboration with Apple, in which he stars and executive produces alongside Rose Byrne. The show first aired in 2023, and was renewed for season two last December.
