Selena Gomez he only praises his “Only Murders in the Building” co-star, Steve Martin.
Gomez (31) posted a photograph on Instagram of herself watching a brand new movie AppleTV+ a documentary about Martin titled “Steve! “(Martin) A Documentary in 2 Pieces,” which premiered on March 29 and chronicles Martin’s life as a comedian and actor.
“It pains me to know how many people may not actually know about Steve’s life,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “He is a true icon, he tried and never gave up… my dear friend, you are extraordinary.”
“Steve!” directed and produced by Oscar winner Morgan Neville, features never-before-seen footage in addition to latest interviews with Martin and insight into his stand-up and film profession.
Gomez, who stars with Martin, 78, and Martin Short, 74, in Only Murders In The Building since 2021, doesn’t hesitate to praise each men.
On March 26, she posted a tribute on Instagram under a photograph of the three laughing.
“I want to thank @stevemartinreally and Marty (who hates social media) for truly being the most kind, gentle, warm and powerful influence on me,” Gomez wrote.
“You showed me a level of sophistication, intellect and humor that now not seems easy to realize.
“You are truly my best friends eternally. #Bear.”
Earlier this month, in keeping with People magazineGomez said filming has begun on the fourth season of the Hulu series, which can be set in Los Angeles.
Gomez posted a photograph of the roses that Martin and Short sent her, together with a note from the actors: “We are so happy to be with you guys Steve and Marty again.”
Season 4 of “Only Murders in the Building” will feature guest stars including Molly Shannon, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria and Zach Galifianakis.
Gomez stars as Mabel Mora alongside Martin (Charles-Haden Savage) and Short (Oliver Putnam).
In Season 4, they may leave the Arconia apartment constructing on the Upper West Side and head to the sunny climes of Los Angeles, although it is unknown how long they may stay on the West Coast before returning to New York.
