Roy Keane has reacted strongly to Erling Haaland’s performance after Manchester City’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal, describing him as “almost like a League Two player”.
The Premier League’s top scorer endured a frustrating afternoon against the Gunners on the Etihad on Sunday (March 31).
Discussing his appearance on sky sports, Keane said: “The level of his overall play is so poor, and not just today, that I think his overall play, headers or whatever, in terms of attacking play, is the best in the world.
“But in terms of his overall play for a player like that, it is so poor, not least today, that I think he needs to improve to be almost like a League Two player.”
