Prince William shared another update on wife Kate Middleton at St. Mary’s Community Hospital on the Isles of Scilly on Friday.
The future king, 41, appeared excited about the engagement as he greeted passers-by. The Isles of Scilly are said to be a favorite getaway for the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children – Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
“May I ask how Princess Kate is?” hospital administrator Tracy Smith asked via a video Sky News.
“She’s doing fine, thanks,” he replied.
“Beautiful, and children too?” Smith left.
William added: “The kids are so jealous that I’m here and they’re not here too.”
When asked if he would bring them to Jumma’s location “at the end of the year”, Shahi noted that he may spend time there privately at some point in the future.
Middleton, 42, for her part, has stayed out of the spotlight since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March.
The Post revealed that Prince of Wales “sugarcoated” her health concerns when breaking the news to her youngest child, Louis, but had more “difficult” conversations with George and Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Amaya Arrieta, a close confidant of the couple, recently said that the couple is “going through hell.”
“I’m heartbroken right now … I hope he comes back. It’s really personal,” Arrieta told The Telegraph.
Speculation about Middleton’s whereabouts has been rife since her scheduled stomach surgery in January until she announced her health. At the time, Prince William was “upset and angry” at the situation, according to a former staffer.
“William is strong-minded, sometimes stubborn. That, and his emphasis on family life, will give him the backbone and the strength to get through this,” Valentine Lowe said recently.
As William and his father, King Charles III, resume royal duties – and the monarch, 75, battles his own cancer – the estranged Prince Harry will briefly mark the 10th anniversary of his Invictus Games this week. While in Britain. Harry, 39, has not seen anyone from the firm and has since reunited and traveled to Nigeria with wife Meghan Markle.
