According to a royal expert, Prince William and Kate Middleton have asked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to take their children with them on their next visit to the UK.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have been fighting a rift with the Sussex family for years, however it looks like the couple might want to bury the hatchet once and for all.
According to royal writer Tom Quinn, Duchess Kate was all for the idea of seeing Archie and Lilibet in England, but the Duchess of Sussex turned down the idea.
“There is no way Meghan would bring children to the UK” – Quinn he told the Mirror.
“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to reconcile, but this suggestion has so far gone nowhere.”
The last time Archie and Lilibet visited the UK was during Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee in June 2022.
For her part, Markle last returned to England for the Queen’s funeral in September of the same yr.
However, sources deny the recent report. The Post has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.
The couple didn’t take their children with them for safety reasons as the Sussexes were left without taxpayer-funded British security cover.
This means the couple can have to pay out of pocket for security during their visit to Harry’s homeland.
Still, Harry and his wife appear to don’t have any hesitation in offering help to the royal family on this time of great suffering, and a reconciliation is “100% possible,” according to a royal expert.
Harry and Meghan are said to be hoping to temporarily return to the British royal family and have reportedly contacted William and Kate to make this occur.
“A reconciliation with Harry and Meghan is absolutely possible, 100%,” King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold told The Post exclusively.
“I can certainly believe that Harry will contact Kate and William and offer his help – whether they accept it or not is a completely different matter, but I honestly believe that Harry would reach out personally and to Meghan.”
“Unfortunately, times like these bring families together and blood is thicker than water,” Harrold added.
In February, The Post revealed that Charles had been toying with the idea of Harry’s temporary return, regardless that the prince had been kept at arm’s length from ongoing succession talks.
Following the Princess of Wales’s surprise cancer announcement earlier this month, Harry and Meghan expressed hope that Middleton would have privacy during her treatment.
“We wish health and healing to Kate and the family and hope that they will be able to do so privately and peacefully,” the couple said in a press release.
It is known that the duo, who left royal life in 2020 and moved across the pond to Montecito, California, entered into “private” contact with the Prince and Princess of Wales following Middleton’s announcement.
