According to a royal expert, Prince Harry is struggling to completely turn the page in California and move on with his life.
Despite being far removed from the royal lifestyle these days, the Duke of Sussex is doing “a fair amount of looking back” at his old life, according to Roya Nekha, Royal Editor of the Sunday Times.
After stepping down as a senior member of the firm in 2020, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, moved to America in search of privacy.
As a result, the couple lost their tax-funded private security, which Harry has been fighting to win ever since.
“He still has various court cases going on here,” Nekha said told Fox News. “I think we could see him back at the beginning of next year, pulling him back into an old part of his life that was very difficult for him.”
“But he loves his family life in the States. He’s very excited to be a father,” she said.
“I think for him, it’s just finding a role, a really meaningful role moving forward,” said Nickha, 40, who hopes to continue the Invictus Games – based on held in 2014 – for years to come.
“I think for him to go forward, that’s it [finding] A meaningful world for those living in global states,” she continued.
“Being a philanthropist is what he says he wants to be. I think that’s probably what he’s going to focus on for the next few years — how he builds that profile as a philanthropist.”
The Post has reached out to Harry’s representatives for comment.
In fact, Harry has been “at a crossroads” with his work in recent weeks, as he described himself in a newly released video with Markle, 43.
The pair appeared together in a video in which they discussed prioritizing the safety of children online through their Archwell Foundation.
It was the first time they had been seen together in months, amid reports that their professional relationship was “in very bad shape.”
In September, Nekha wrote in her preliminary report The Times that Harry’s “transformation into the iconic California prince” meant he no longer boasted a friendship with his brother Prince William.
According to a royal expert, the feuding brothers’ relationship is “almost beyond repair” as Harry seems torn “between fighting old demons and getting on with his life”.
“He only spends time looking back,” Harry’s former adviser told Nikkah at the time. “I wish he could turn his neck and look ahead.”
