Leader in chip production Nvidia plans to establish a $200 million artificial intelligence center in Indonesia in partnership with the country’s second-largest cell phone provider because it expands into Southeast Asia.

He added that the center will improve local telecommunications infrastructure and support human resources and digital talent.

The partnership with Indosat for the AI hub follows Nvidia’s other partnerships in the region, including with Singapore’s Singtel, which announced in late January that it was working with Nvidia on speed up the event and availability of artificial intelligence in the country. Nvidia third quarter results showed that $2.7 billion, or 15% of its revenue in the quarter, got here from Singapore.
