Lifetime has officially announced its upcoming docuseries on Nicole Brown Simpson, marking the 30th anniversary of her death. In the title of The Life and Murders of Nicole Brown Simpson And billed as an explosive two-night event, the four-part series premieres June 1 and 2 at 8pm ET/PT.
Lifetime has released a trailer for the docuseries (below), in which his three sisters — Denise, Dominique and Tanya Brown — talk about Nicole, the ex-wife of OJ Simpson who in 1994 He was killed outside his Brentwood condominium. Nicole and Simpson have been married for seven years and have two children, Sydney and Justin. Simpson was famously accused and acquitted of her murder as well as that of Ron Goldman. The fallen football star was later found responsible for both of their deaths in a 1997 civil lawsuit.
Simpson died on April 10 of metastatic prostate cancer.
As The Hollywood Reporter As previously reported, despite the timing of the release of the documents shortly after Simpson’s death, The Life and Murders of Nicole Brown Simpson Work has been going on for over a year.
Lifetime of the project says the documentary “provides an opportunity to hear Nicole’s own narrative and voice in one of history’s most infamous crimes and trials,” involving 50 participants. Who knew Nicole for excellence and unparalleled access. Home videos and interviews.
The network says the docuseries will reveal “shocking new details in the tragic story” and “shed new light” on her life and death, as Nicole’s sisters and close friends “remember her truth.” It will be the first time.”
“What happened to our sister Nicole should never have happened to her or any other woman,” the Brown sisters said in a statement. “Her life was taken from her and while her abuser is finally gone, it doesn’t take away the pain we feel or the pain of her children who lost their mother. We Hopefully by sharing Nicole’s story, it will help others recognize the signs and get the help they need and her legacy will continue.
In the trailer, her sisters become emotional as they recall how “she always thought he was going to hurt her” and that “the one thing I couldn’t protect her from was the monster that He was married.” At first sight Nicole mentions keeping a diary, described as “basically a list of abuse by Simpson”, and leaving the children in Simpson’s care after their mother’s death.
