Morgan Wallen’s ex-fiancee KT Smith speaks out after country singer arrested for allegedly throwing a chair off a roof bar in Nashville on Sunday.
Smith, who shares 3-year-old son Indigo with the singer, said she firmly believes Wallen, 30,’s outburst is unrelated to her surprise marriage to Luke Scornavacco.
“While it may seem related chronologically, I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement” – Smith, 29, he said Ton Everyday Beast.
“I can’t speak for Morgan, but I am praying for him in the best possible way. I pray that this is just a setback and that he returns to the good path he was on before.”
Smith’s comment comes from a source he said Ton DailyMail that the incident was directly related to Wallen he finds out that his ex has grow to be involvedof Scornavacco, 22.
However, a source told The Post that the story was fabricated.
Smith and the “Whiskey Glasses” singer began dating in 2016 and got engaged a few months later.
The couple broke off their engagement but continued their romance for several years before splitting for good in July 2020.
Meanwhile, Smith and Scornavacco announced their engagement in an Instagram post on March 30 with the caption: “Why leave the good things for later.”
Just five days later, these two surprised lots of her followers on social media after they announced they were secretly engaged.
As The Post previously reported, Wallen had just finished acting at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis when he was stopped by Nashville police outside Chief’s Bar, owned by Wallen’s pal Eric Church, just after 10:45 p.m. on the weekend. .
According to officers present on the scene, the chair allegedly thrown by the singer landed three meters away from them.
“On Sunday night at 10:53 p.m., Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct,” his attorney, Worrick Robinson, told The Post in a statement. “He is fully cooperating with the authorities.”
Wallen was later charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct.
The Billboard Music Award winner was released from the Davidson County Jail around 3:30 a.m. after posting a $15,250 bond.
Several viewers also reported that the country star appeared to be laughing after the incident.
Wallen will appear in court on May 3, the identical day he’s scheduled to perform at Nissan Stadium in Nashville as a part of his “One Night at a Time” tour.
