Meghan Markle’s podcast has reportedly been “pushed back” to next year.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, inked a deal with Lemonda Media in February to launch a new podcast series after Spotify decided not to renew a massive $20 million deal for a second season of “Archetypes.”
Lemonade will now distribute its previous Spotify podcast series across all platforms.
“Meghan’s ‘Archetypes’ podcast relaunch pushed back to 2025,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“The small podcast company is struggling to get out of the starting blocks,” the insider shared, adding that the company doesn’t want the podcast’s launch to be overshadowed by the “Suits” alum’s new Netflix series.
The Post has contacted Lemonda Media and representatives for Markle and Prince Harry for comment.
The Sussexes signed a lucrative $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020. Since signing on the dotted line, the couple released their bombshell six-part documentary “Harry & Meghan” in 2022, followed by “Live To Lead” and most recently, “Heart of Invictus.â€
His Archwell production company has announced that two new series are in the “early stages” of production on Netflix.
Markle’s show, which began filming last week, will “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, fun and friendship.”
The second project centers around polo and will “give viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo.” Harry will not star in the series but reportedly Expect to make cameos..
The couple stayed at a luxury $8,000-a-night hotel in Palm Beach last week to film some material for the equestrian show.
Last month, the mother of two announced her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard to the world. An Instagram post Teasing its upcoming debut.
Markle also launched one. website For the brand, which is currently empty, is asking visitors to provide their email if they want to be notified about “products, availability, and updates.”
Additionally, a trademark application shows that the brand intends to sell tableware, drinkware, decanters, kitchen linens and food items such as jellies, jams, marmalades and spreads.
A trademark application is awaiting examination and seeking approval for the cookbook.
Lemonade Media is understood to be concerned about “scheduling conflicts” between Markle’s Netflix series and her new lifestyle venture.
Although her new brand’s products aren’t yet available for purchase, Markle spent much of last week shipping out jars of strawberry jam from the new brand, which is due out later this year.
Ahead of the brand’s official launch, the former actress sent 50 of her friends lemon-filled gift baskets containing fresh fruit jam.
Mindy Kaling, award-winning actress and friend of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, actress Tracee Ellis Ross, and Markle’s longtime pal and “Suits” co-star Abigail Spencer were three of the few people who received a jam jar from Markle.
Designer Tracy Robbins and Argentinian model Delfina Blackier, close friend of Prince Harry and wife of polo player Nacho Figueras, also received Markle’s strawberry confection.
According to people close to Shahi, the brand’s name is an endearing nod to Santa Barbara, California, as it has been dubbed the “American Riviera” for more than a century.
It’s also where Markle and her husband live with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilybet.
