Paramount+’s limited series about JonBenét Ramsey attracts a high-profile cast.
The newest addition to the show is three-time Emmy winner Margo Martindale (). She will reprise her role as Nedra, Patsy Ramsey’s (Melissa McCarthy) mother and Jon Bennett’s grandmother. The character has been described as “tough, blunt, articulate, and unafraid to speak her mind”.
McCarthy and Clive Owen star as Patsy and John Ramsey, Jon Bennet’s parents. The cast also includes Emily Mitchell, Jon Bennett, Garrett Hedlund, Alison Pill, Owen Teague, Clifton Collins Jr., Rory Cochrane, Chris Bauer, Angus Caldwell, Shea Whigham, Will Peyton, Jaime Ray Newman and Josh Stamberg.
Production on the series is set to begin soon in Calgary. Richard LaGravenese () is the showrunner and is writing the series with Harrison Query and Tommy Wallach, who sold the project to producers MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. Anne Civitsky () will direct four of the eight episodes.
