Liz Hurley slams ‘ridiculous’ rumors about Prince Harry


Liz Hurley refutes speculation that she took Prince Harry’s virginity following the publication of his memoirs Reservelast yr, calling the rumor “ridiculous.”

In his record-breaking memoir, the prince wrote that as a teen he had his first sexual encounter with an older woman in a field behind a pub near King Charles III’s country residence. Soon after, speculation began to spread online about who the lady is likely to be, with several social media users wondering if it was Hurley.

“What do you think about the speculation that appeared after the publication of Prince Harry’s book? Reserve that you are that beautiful old woman he lost his virginity to in the countryside?” Cohen asked.

“It was ridiculous,” she replied. “He said, ‘She was English, she was older than me, it was in Gloucestershire.’ They said, “Oh, it’s Elizabeth!” It was absurd.”

“It was ridiculous,” Hurley added. “It’s like telling you, ‘He looks great, he’s American.’ And they say, “Oh, that is Andy Cohen.”

She further said, “I have never met him in my life. In life”.

Newsweek reached out to Prince Harry’s representatives via email for comment.

In his book, Harry described losing his virginity as an “infamous episode” in his young adulthood, and the semi-graphic account became the basis for late-night jokes and mockery on the Internet after Reservepublication.

“Glorious old lady episode,” Harry wrote. “She was very fond of horses and treated me much like a young stallion. A quick ride, after which she gave him a slap on the rump and sent him to the pasture. Among the many things that were wrong with it was this: It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub.”

In the aftermath Reservein a January 2023 publication, a former member of King Charles’ staff on the Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire, England, told a British newspaper that she was the lady referred to in Harry’s story.

– said Sasha Walpole Sun: “I am the woman who took Harry’s virginity. It was literally wham-bam between two friends. The sex was passionate and lively because we weren’t supposed to do that. One thing quickly led to another.”

Appearance on Watch live what’s happening This is not the primary time Hurley has denied rumors that she was, in actual fact, a lady involved with Harry.

In an interview with The London Times. in December 2022, Hurley was asked about this in reference to the Prince’s then-to-be-published memoir. “Not me. Innocent. Ha!” she said.

The actress has been linked to Harry in other ways in recent months. The two were named as co-plaintiffs, along with several other well-known public figures, in an illegal information gathering lawsuit filed against Associated Newspapers Limited, the magazine’s publisher Daily mail AND Mail on Sunday in Britain. The publisher denies the allegations.

In 2023, a judge ruled that the group could proceed to trial with its cases.
