Andy Robertson has vowed to maintain fighting after Liverpool dropped much more points within the title race on the weekend.
The Reds, who were top of the Premier League two weeks ago, have dropped to 3rd place after dismal leads to their last two games.
After a frustrating draw with Manchester United, Jurgen Klopp’s men suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The blow was softened somewhat as second-placed Arsenal were also beaten later within the day, but Liverpool are still two points behind favorites Manchester City with six games remaining.
Robertson told the club’s website: “This group of lads will never stop fighting.
“It’s extremely frustrating to be in the situation we are in now, being third and relying on two teams to drop points.
“This time last week, we shouldn’t have been in this situation. This is where the frustration comes from.
“But that’s who we are and that’s what it is. We have to be perfect from this point on, that’s for sure. We can’t lose any more points and we’ll see what the other two teams do.
Palace’s defeat, secured by a 14th-minute goal from Eberechi Eze, ended a terrible week for Liverpool, in which they were also beaten 3-0 by Atalanta in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-finals.
They now travel to Italy for the return leg on Thursday before further Premier League away games against Fulham, Everton and West Ham.
“We have to stay positive,” said left-back Robertson, who scored brilliantly from the road to maintain Liverpool from losing 2-0 shortly after Eze’s first goal.
“We have to get everyone up in the locker room because there are a lot of people who are down, whether they missed a chance, gave the ball away or whatever it was.
“We pick it up, go again on Thursday and give it our all.”
Palace’s victory – only their second under latest manager Oliver Glasner – eased their fear of being drawn right into a relegation battle.
The 14th-placed Eagles are currently eight points clear of 18th-placed Luton and have one game in hand against many of the teams below them.
Glasner said: “I don’t look at the table every day because I know we will get points if we play well.
“I’m really focused on our performance, what we need to improve, what our players’ strengths are and how we can combine them to be compact in defense and create chances in attack.
I know that if we play well, we will get enough points to stay in the league. This is where we focus all our attention.”
