Liverpool will press ahead with plans to increase ticket prices by 2% for next season, despite protests from fans.
Liverpool officials met with the club’s supporters’ board on Saturday and agreed that “more significant engagement” was needed on ticket prices.
But the primary league “will not be reversed.”
The club says it has “put on hold” plans to increase membership prices because of this of the meeting.
In a speech ahead of Thursday’s protests, manager Jurgen Klopp said yes he hoped that a “solution” could be found. between the club and the fans.
“I understand the concerns and the discussion,” said Klopp, who will leave Liverpool at the top of the season.
“We should make sure nothing comes between us and the fans.”
