Sabrina’s blood-curdling adventures star Kiernan Shipka took to Instagram on Tuesday to mourn the death of her partner, Chance Perdomo.
“Oh man, that hurts.” Shipka wrote under a carousel of photos of herself and her deceased friend. His representatives said Perdomo died in a bike accident Hollywood reporter last weekend. He was 27 years old.
“He was a one-of-a-kind soul. Simply the most fiery, creative, loving, connected and caring force you can imagine,” Shipka continued. “Equally funny and nice. As loving as he is funny. He never failed to make me laugh and never failed to keep me in suspense (or off the hook if he gave me a piggyback ride to the trailer, which he often did. Thanks Chance.).”
Shipka played the titular witch in the Netflix series Sabrinawhich ran for 4 seasons, starting in 2018. Perdomo played Ambrose Spellman, Sabrina’s cousin and partner in crime.
In her tribute Tuesday, Shipka wrote that “Perdomo’s humanity was a generous gift to me and to so many individuals. It’s really hard to assume this world without him.
She concluded: “I loved him with all my heart. I’ll at all times be.”
Over the weekend, many Perdomo associates from Sabrina in addition to Prime Video General V he paid tribute to his deceased friend on social media.
Patrick Schwarzenegger, who plays Perdomo’s best friend General V, wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “It hurts. Very. What a young, talented actor and a great friend – gone far too soon.”
He also added that working with Perdomo is a “pleasure.”
Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos found its method to Instagram to pay tribute to the late actor, writing that “Chance was a talented young actor who lost too soon. He was great to work with Sabrina’s blood-curdling adventures. Everyone at Netflix sends love and strength to Chance’s entire family and his large family of friends.”
