Duchess Kate’s “I’m in control” remark to Prince William has emerged in a brand new viral video after a compilation of clips captured through the couple’s 13-year marriage was uploaded by fans to the social media site TikTok.
William and Kate have been receiving increasing attention from the general public since early 2024, first when it was announced that the princess had undergone abdominal surgery in January, after which in the run-up to and after her announcement in March that she was undergoing surgery. preventive chemotherapy after a cancer diagnosis.
Kate hasn’t made any official public appearances thus far this yr, and with a scarcity of latest photos and events, fans have taken to social media to reminisce and repost content from past years.
Posted to TikTok by user helensmccrory on April 1 a compilation clips showing carefree moments between William and Kate have gained recognition amongst fans and have thus far been viewed on the platform over half 1,000,000 times.
The video shows a humorous exchange between the pair during a tightrope team-building exercise during their visit to Wales in 2015.
The Duke and Princess visited the Towers Residential Outdoor Learning Center in reference to William’s role as patron of Mountain Rescue England and Wales.
During the visit, William – who not only trained in the British Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy, but is also a trained Air Ambulance rescuer – put his abseiling skills to the test, together with his wife serving as anchor, her job role: counterweight, allowing it to slowly descend a steep hill.
As the prince got here downstairs, Kate teased her husband in a moment that was captured on camera.
“How much do You love me?” she joked, holding onto his support rope.
“Are you OK?” she added, to which William replied: “You’re holding me!”
“I actually like it,” Kate said. “For once I’m in control.”
The viral compilation also features a clip of the couple’s video on their official YouTube channel. “You have to watch what you say now, because these guys are filming everything,” William joked in a moment of surprise.
The TikTok video, titled “I love it when they’re in a silly mood,” received over 41,000 likes and over 140 comments, lots of which praised the royal couple.
“They are such a beautiful couple, I just love them so much,” wrote one user.
“I can’t wait to see this side of them again,” wrote one other, with one other comment: “These two are adorable.”
On April 29, William and Kate will have fun their thirteenth wedding anniversary. Together they’ve three children: Prince George, born in 2013; Princess Charlotte, born 2015; and Prince Louis, born in 2018
