Kang has had some time to figure out what works best for him, as he has been working in the industry since he was 20 years old. What was your experience like making? How did you feel promoting the album?
Being a solo artist I always need to act for my music videos. This time I played two roles. It was a new experience for me too. It was a really good time shooting my music video.
Did you have a favorite part of the album release, whether it was shooting the music video, performing or something else?
Music video. I mean, it’s my job. Music videos are part of my work, but I think it’s completely new this time.
Do you feel that your own personal journey as an artist and as a person in the world influences your music?
Usually, when I watch movies or drama. [series]I also think about music, although I try not to do my work whenever I have time to relax at home. This is my hobby — watching movies and drama series — and it makes me imagine a lot. Sometimes that’s really helpful for me, that imagination [it] Brings me to work. How do you recharge? What do you like to do in your free time?
There are many ways to recharge. Some people exercise or watch movies but, for me, just being in my house… I mean home is everything to me. I have cats in my house. I have my computer at home. I have TVs in my house. Yes, just stay at home.
