Josh Peck has liked a cryptic social media post after backlash over his reaction. Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids’ TV.

“Children must be protected,” Peck wrote. “It’s incredibly difficult to publicly recover from this, but I hope it can bring healing to victims and their families, as well as bring much-needed change to our industry.”
On Tuesday, Peck liked a cryptic post on X, formerly Twitter, discussing irony.
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, stoicism is defined as “tolerance of pain or difficult without show of emotion and without complaint.”
The post reads: “Stoicism reminds us how unpredictable the world can be, how short our life moments are, how to be persistent, strong and self-possessed, and that the source of discontent is ourselves. But our overwhelming reliance is on reflexive senses rather than logic.”

Bell and Josh Peck starred in the popular Nickelodeon sitcom. Drake and Josh. The show, which aired from 2004 to 2007, followed two teenage half-brothers as they learned to live together despite their drastically different personalities.
Actor Brian Peck was hired by Nickelodeon as a dialogue coach, working on various projects. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison in 2004 for having oral sex with a minor under the age of 16, as well as performing a lewd act with a 14 or 15-year-old. In a statement, Nickelodeon said Newsweek: “Now that Drake Bell has been identified as a plaintiff in the 2004 lawsuit, we are disappointed and saddened to learn of the trauma he has endured, and we need the strength to come forward. Appreciate and support.”
After the release of Quiet on the setBell was seen liking posts attacking Josh Peck’s silence on documentaries.
Along with facing backlash for not speaking up, Peck was criticized for sharing a TikTok video that many fans believe was aimed at Bull.
The sitcom star is heard lip-syncing on audio: “If I haven’t talked to you since 2023, take it as a ******* sign that you’re not into me anymore.”
However, Bell posted a TikTok video defending Peck, telling followers that her former co-star had contacted her privately.
“I just want to clear something up,” he said. “I’ve seen a lot of comments on some of Josh’s TikToks and some of his posts. I just want to let you guys know.. it’s been a really emotional time to process and go through this. A lot of it. Very, very difficult, so not everything is exposed to the public.
“But I just wanted to let you guys know. [Josh] has reached out to me and it’s been very sensitive… He’s reached out to talk to me and help me work through it and he’s been really, really great.”
