While we don’t believe in putting ourselves in a stylistic box, we love to find looks that enhance our features and let our personal, unique style shine through! Your face can be different shapes and that’s okay! Just keep this in mind when trying on different frames to help balance your look. There are approximately five different face shapes: oval, square, round, diamond and heart.
Tip 1: For oval faces
Most ovals can fit a variety of face shapes because of the balance from the forehead to the cheekbones to the chin. A larger or wider frame will be your best friend! VW frames are recommended – Ayana
Tip 2: For square faces
While being square can be cool, a round or oval frame will help soften your angular features. Try to find a frame that is slightly wider than your cheekbones.
VW frames are recommended – Ling, Selwyn
Tip 3: For round faces
With a soft baseline that’s the same width all around, we need to spice it up with some angles. Clean lines with bold features such as a cat eye or rectangular frame add a sharp structure. VW frames are recommended – V606, V492
Tip 4: For diamond faces
A rare face shape that has all the angles! A chunky brown line like a horn rim will accentuate cheekbones while remaining soft on the rest of your face. An easy choice would be oval or rectangular. VW frames are recommended – Taraji, V609
Tip 5: For heart faces
Like oval, many glasses can fit this face shape. Aviators are one of the best options because they are slightly wider near the forehead and begin to round down to avoid overwhelming your cheekbones or chin. VW frames are recommended – The fourth Demetria
