Gwen Stefani reacts to rumors that she is splitting from her husband Blake Shelton.
“Don’t Speak” singer, 54 tie a knot with the country star (47) in 2021, she talked about her relationship in a brand new interview with NYLON.
Although Stefani had little question that she loved Shelton, she confessed that she sometimes felt vulnerable in her marriage.
This feeling even led to writing a duet titled “Purple irises” along with your partner.
“I went through moments where you asked yourself, ‘Oh my God, am I just getting old? Am I cute?” – Stefani noticed.
“In my relationship, regardless that I do know the reality about what is going on today, you continue to create drama in your mind about your insecurities and what might occur. I used to be at that stage in my relationship with Blake and I used to be becoming paranoid,” he added Added by LAMB designer.
She continued: “The truth is that I really like my best friend. And all of the bullshit I’m pondering about in my brain, that is all – I’m pondering an excessive amount of.
“But when you’re in love and you have really aligned values, no one can get to us,” Stefani said.
“You can say whatever you want about our relationship – I mean, we got divorced again a week ago or something. These are just lies. The truth is the truth and we know what it is.”
Stefani and Shelton met in 2014 while serving as coaches on NBC’s competition series “The Voice.”
The “Hollaback Girl” singer was previously married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, and they share sons Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 10. They divorced in 2016.
As for the “Austin” singer, he married one other country star Miranda Lambert in 2011, and they broke up 4 years later.
Stefani has previously spoken about how her “life fell apart.” separate from Rossdale, 58.
“When this happened, I literally had to start over. It was a reset of my life,” said the Grammy winner People Magazine in September 2023
“When I [started dating] “Blake, that is after I felt at home and I assumed, ‘Oh, that is where I’m supposed to be, with this guy,'” she gushed. “[I] I actually have not seen [Shelton] coming. It was just a giant old “What?” It was an incredible gift to experience such love for the primary time.”
