Pep Guardiola has said Manchester City were “incredibly lucky” to take advantage of the dry ground in their 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Although the win made them favorites for a fourth title in a row, it was far from their best and City were grateful to Forest for missing four chances.
The City boss said the missed opportunities came as the pitch was dry and the ball was bouncing high.
“With the better pitch conditions they would have scored. We were incredibly lucky for that,” added Guardiola.
