Clubs across Europe have shown interest in Graham Potter, but the former Chelsea boss is in no rush to choose his next managerial position.
Potter was fired from Chelsea in April 2023, and the 48-year-old was in talks with the Dutch club Ajax.
The team has been with out a everlasting manager since October, when Maurice Steijn was fired and John van ‘t Schip became the team’s interim coach.
They were beaten 6-0 for rival Feyenoord on Sunday.
Ajax also has problems at board level, with its chief executive Alex Kroes suspended this month for alleged insider trading.
It is known that former Brighton and Swansea boss Potter wants to ensure he’s according to his next club’s strategy and long-term plan.
Potter has also been linked with the manager’s job at Manchester United if there have been to be a change of head coach at Old Trafford and the departure of Erik ten Hag.
Future Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth also worked with Potter when he was Brighton manager.
Although the club’s league form was criticized during his time at Stamford Bridge, Potter actually led Chelsea to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
However, he parted ways with the Blues before they lost to Real Madrid last season.
Potter built his popularity at Swedish clubs Ostersund and Swansea in the Championship before moving to the Premier League, where he led Brighton to ninth place.
