Glenn Powell is one of the most in-demand men in Hollywood right now.
The actor is in early talks to star in director JJ Abrams’ next film. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. No deal has been signed yet, and plot details are currently under wraps, though the project does not involve time travel, which could put to rest recent rumors about Abrams’ potential plans.
A representative for Bad Robot, Abrams’ production company, declined to comment.
Earlier on Wednesday THR reported that Powell is set to star opposite Anthony Mackie and Laura Dern in writer-director John Lee Hancock’s legal drama. Monsanto. Rocket Science is set to begin international sales at the Cannes Film Market later this month, with CAA Media Finance handling domestic rights.
