Leicester are back in the Premier League after sealing automatic promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
It has been a fantastic season for the Foxes under Enzo Maresca, even if they have threatened to mess it up in the last few months.
Here are five key players in their memorable campaign.
Abdul Fatawi
The Ghanaian winger has made a big impact during his loan spell at Sporting Lisbon. He has scored six goals from the wing, including a hat-trick in a 5–0 rout of Southampton, and provided 12 assists.
Kiernan Dewsbury Hall
The midfielder is sure to win the club’s Player of the Year after proving he is too good for the Championship. The Foxes youth product has scored an impressive 12 goals and set up a further 14 and has featured in every game.
Jenk Westergaard
Westergaard has been the rock of a Leicester defense that has been so solid for the most part. The Foxes have less than one goal a game all season and the composition and class of the Denmark internationals has been a key reason.
Steffi Mavididi
Mavididi’s form in the first half of the season was a major reason why Leicester looked like they were going to run away from the league. That faded after January but 12 goals and six assists still represents an impressive return.
Mads Hermanson
There is a Danish goalkeeper tradition at Leicester and Hermansson has lived up to the billing. The 23-year-old has kept 13 clean sheets, making 114 saves along the way. He has provided credibility with his hands and feet.
