Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s budding relationship has made headlines all over the world because the superstar duo began dating within the late summer of 2023.
The couple took an enormous step of their romance over Easter weekend 2024, with Travis reportedly introducing his three nieces to Swift in Pennsylvania.
However, a viral April Fool’s TikTok referring to the “Travis Kelce cheating scandal” has surprised some Swift fans.

A TikTok by user xtra_abigator, posted on April 1, 2024, has been viewed 686,200 times, with the caption “Travis Kelis allegedly cheating on Taylor Swift’s allegations???? This must be a joke 💀 “And the headline “Travis Kelce cheating scandal this” should be a joke.”
In the post, user xtra_abigator referenced another TikTok by influencer Mickey Angelo, also posted on April 1, 2024, with 19 million views, in which he said in March: “Travis Kelce cheating scandal [was] Just announced.”
“If this man cheated on Taylor Swift, I do not think he’d ever recuperate. I do not think he’d ever find a way to indicate his face within the media again,” xtra_abigator said.
“Great that he bought a new, whatever, mansion so they can hang out together.
“This must be a joke. I like them together, I ride with them or die together, but to do something improper with him like this, it’s crazy, it may possibly’t be true. .
“It’s supposed to be a joke. I don’t know man. I was looking at TikToks, like… featured too and um, it just looks like TMZ reports, must be fake, fake news.
“Not a glad April Fool’s joke, not funny.”
The facts
The instinct that the claim is an April Fool’s joke seems correct, but he needs to do some unpacking first.
To begin with, there were and have been no “cheating scandal” announcements. No reports from TMZ or other gossip sites. Just this week, Kelce said the people magazine that he was “the happiest I’ve ever been”.
There are simply no reports of infidelity, credible or otherwise.

Most of the events in Angelou’s April 1 video were based on real news, aside from the “cheating scandal,” which was the last event to be featured. He also mentioned “7-Eleven Hot Dog Flavor Water”, a joke 7-Eleven released before April Fools’ Day.
Whatever the aim of mentioning the “cheating scandal”, there isn’t any credible evidence to support it and it appears to have been intended, for all intents and purposes, as a joke. Is.
