Emily Blunt is revealing what movie she did her most “stressful” stunt in, and the answer may surprise some fans.
The Oscar-nominated actress may have been surrounded by death-defying stunts in her latest film, but she recently revealed Magazine That his scariest stunt was actually in 2018.
“That admission was very stressful for me,” she recalled of the scene.
Blunt, who took on the role of the iconic Julie Andrews for the Disney musical sequel, explained that her character’s entrance was to “start in the clouds and come down to the ground with the umbrella up. You have to walk easily like it’s nothing.
Starr added, “I did three takes — and then I felt my stamina go, ‘Pfft!’ And that was it.
However, Blunt said that he noticed that director Rob Marshall wanted to go for a fourth take but he immediately shut it down.
“I did three takes and I could see Rob getting ready to do another one,” the actress recalled. “I was like, ‘No, no, no, no, I’m done’. It was over.”
While Blunt also does a fight scene, where she stars opposite Ryan Gosling, some fans might have guessed her scariest stunt would be a sci-fi action movie with Tom Cruise, but it wasn’t.
“I did some wire stuff, which was probably more dangerous, because I splashed something,” he said. Her performance in the 2014 film also earned her the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress in an Action Film.
