Marshall Weinbauman admired publicist who has been the first intermediary between Walt Disney Studios and the press for the past 17 years, including on virtually every Disney Animation and Pixar project, is leaving the Mouse House to affix Netflix’s awards team. Hollywood reporter he learned.

Weinbaum joined Disney almost immediately after graduating from Michigan State University. As a senior publicist, he has been a fixture at major premieres, trade shows and company events, in addition to other industry events, conventions and awards shows, and has overseen interactions with many of the leading industry publications. He has worked on over 25 movies which have grossed over $1 billion worldwide and 13 of the highest 15 opening weekend grossers on the domestic box office.
Widely admired by his peers, he was named 2022 Publicist of the Year by the ICG Publicists Guild and was a part of the teams behind several campaigns that the guild recognized as the most effective of their years: movies Help AND Star Wars: The Force Awakens and TV series The Mandalorian and at first of this yr Ahsoka.
