Rachel Ziegler is whistling a controversial tune.
After the “Snow White” star went on a tirade against those who voted for Donald Trump in the 2024 election, supporters of the president-elect began calling for Disney to take action.
Ziegler plays the titular character of Snow White in the live-action film, which is slated for a spring 2025 release. After his comments on X went viral, angry Trump supporters are vowing to boycott the project.
“Not taking my kids to see this trash after your statement. Disney you need to do something about this,” wrote one social media user. The Daily Mail.
“I hope you don’t get relief when this movie BOMBS at the box office and streaming,” wrote a second.
Others hope that the young starlet will lose her job and that Disney will shelve the film altogether.
One critic claimed that “Rachel Ziegler is irresponsible and responsible. “She should constantly shelter Snow White and distance herself from him. His involvement with the company alienated millions and poisoned the brand as a whole.
Following Trump’s win last week, Ziegler shared a series of messages with his 2.3 million Instagram followers.
“I find myself speechless in the midst of this. Four more years of hate, leading us to a world I don’t want to live in,” she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram story. “I shouldn’t be this shocked. But I am. I’m heartbroken for my friends who woke up. [in] Fear this morning. And I’m here with you. Cry, scream, hug. To wax poetic about how the left is failing us to forge a new path. It shouldn’t have been a loss. And it certainly shouldn’t have been by that many votes.
“Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself have never known peace,” Ziegler said. Four more years of hate, tilting us toward a world I don’t want to live in. Lead us to a world in which it will be difficult to raise my daughter.”
In a follow-up post, the actress added that there is a “deep, deep sickness” in the United States because of how many people voted for “a man who threatens our democracy.”
Describing Kamala Harris’ loss as “one that shouldn’t have happened … and it definitely shouldn’t have happened by this many votes,” Ziegler took a moment to touch on Trump’s campaign.
He continued, “It is appalling the number of people who stand behind this man’s preaching. It is a foolish subscription to a false sense of security, masculinity, intelligence, patriotism and humanity. Any help to any of them, No advice. I wouldn’t. I feel sad. You probably do too.”
Also, taking a shot at billionaire Elon Musk, who has become one of Trump’s most outspoken allies and a spot on the president-elect’s team, he noted, “Elon’s app Get off.”
“I don’t use this app for a reason. It helped elect this guy and you’re giving him business,” the Disney star explained.

The “Hunger Games” alum previously criticized the original 1937 animated “Snow White,” calling David Hand’s work “very old-fashioned” when it came to the idea of women in powerful roles. And what in the world is a woman fit for?
“The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very clearly,” Zegler told Extra in 2022.
“There’s a lot of focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird. So we didn’t do that this time,” she quipped.
At the time, Ziegler also spoke to Variety about how her version of “Snow White” would be about being a “fearless leader” rather than “dreaming of true love.”
