The Producers Guild of America will honor Dana Walden with its milestone award at the 2025 PGA Awards.
Walden, co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, will accept the award at the 36th ceremony on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The prestigious Milestone Award honors industry producers who have made historic contributions to the entertainment industry.
Past Milestone Award recipients include Steven Spielberg, Bob Iger, Sherry Lansing, George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy, Clint Eastwood, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, Donna Langley and Charles D. King.
“His (Walden’s) leadership, first as CEO of Fox Television Group and now as co-chairman overseeing Disney’s global television portfolio, has had a major impact on the business. I am proud to recognize his extraordinary and longstanding work,” PGA Presidents Stephanie Allen and Donald DeLine said in a joint statement.
For his part, Walden shared his success with industry colleagues. “I’ve had the incredible fortune of working with some of the most brilliant and talented producers in the history of television and the film industry, and I’m grateful to Stephanie, Donald and the PGA for recognizing the tremendous value of these partnerships. ,” he said in his statement.
At Disney, Walden oversees the studio’s streaming services, including Hulu in the US and Disney+ in more than 150 countries worldwide, among other duties. During his career, Walden has TV credits including
