Spock has a new enemy.
“Star Trek” actor Zachary Quinto has been blasted by a Toronto restaurant for allegedly abusing staff and making a scene in front of other customers.
small handQuinto, 47, then posted what he described as a “Mediterranean-ish bistro” on Instagram on Sunday.
“Zachary Quinto – an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer,” began a statement on the restaurant’s Instagram Stories.
“Screamed at our staff like an entitled child when she didn’t respond to two texts to let her know her table was ready and refused to accept that empty tables in the dining room weren’t available for her. They were, however, politely informed that they were spoken for, making our host and the rest of our brunch uneasy.
“Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many beautiful celebrities joining us at Manita but you are not one of them,” added the business.
The Post has reached out to Quinto’s representative for comment.
Quinto was in Canada to celebrate his 47th birthday on June 2.
The Pennsylvania native documented his birthday celebrations on it. Instagram storiesstart with a picture of a “Happy Birthday” sign on the wall.
He also visited Canada’s Wonderland amusement park. “Thank you for such an incredible birthday adventure @canadaswonderland!!!” he wrote.
In another photo, Quinto sat in front of a lit candle over a dessert inside a restaurant. It is not clear if the photo was taken in Manita.
Quinto rose to fame playing the villain Sylar on the NBC superhero series “Heroes,” which aired from 2006 to 2010.
In 2009, Quinto took on the role of Spock in JJ Abrams’ “Star Trek” film. He reprized the role in the sequels “Stark Trek Into Darkness” in 2013 and “Stark Trek Beyond” in 2016.
A fourth “Star Trek” has been in development for years, Quinto said Forbes in October 2022 that he would be happy to return.
“I would love to play the role again and be back with the team,” he said. “I think we all love each other and we all love working on these stories. I’m sure it’s going to come together, but I don’t have time to speculate on how it might be. I guess until I know it’s the real thing.
Quinto further explained that he doesn’t know if “Star Trek 4” will actually ever see the light of day.
“I don’t know if — or when — it will ever come together at this point,” he said. “I think it’s better for everyone’s sanity to just trust that there’s a lot going on and when the phone rings, and JJ says, ‘Hey, we’re really going to do this. are,’ then I will show.
“But until then, I have a lot of other things going on and a lot of things to focus on.”
