Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley is anticipated to be sidelined for around three weeks with an ankle injury.
He was replaced by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who returned from a knee injury that had sidelined him since February.
Bradley will miss Thursday’s Europa League match against Atalanta and key matches against Fulham, Everton and West Ham until the top of April.
Liverpool loses to Atalanta 3-0 on Thursday within the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals in Italy.
Bradley could return in May when Liverpool face Tottenham, Aston Villa and Wolves to complete their Premier League season.
The Northern Ireland international has made 22 appearances for the Reds this season, scoring one goal and adding six assists.
Liverpool’s defeat at home to Palace left them two points behind leaders Manchester City with six games remaining.
