The chipolo announced a new Bluetooth tracker called pop, containing the same bright colors as Chipolo One, but with the service of both Apple Find My and Google’s Find My Device Networks. The POP chipolo also has a much larger Bluetooth offer than the current offer of tracking devices and features that has better resistance to water and dust, expanding where you can use it.
Earlier, the chipolo offered three versions of its disk -shaped disk -like trackers. Chipolo worth 25 USD worked with its own application Chipolo and Limited Network, 28 USD Chipolo One Spot worked with Apple Find My Network, and 28 USD Chipolo One Point supported Google Find My Device Network. The new POP chipolo is compatible with both Apple and Google networks (but only one at a time), so you don’t have to worry about choosing the right version that works with your devices – convenience worth a small increase in POP price to USD 29.
POP TRACKER has a diameter of 1.53 inches, which makes it about half an inch larger than a quarter and is about a quarter of an inch. It is available in blue, black, green, red, white and yellow and is powered by the CR2032 battery, which will be powered by the CR2032 battery, which will keep it up to a year.
It has the same 120dB alarm as other chipolo trackers, but increases Bluetooth range from 200 to 300 feet, potentially facilitating location. POP also has a better IP55 rating, which means that it is both resistant to dust and waterproof, but not waterproof. You can attach one to your dog’s collar and not worry that they will be in the rain, but if your puppy went on a long swim, pop will not survive complete immersion.
Although the tracker is designed to work with Apple and Google applications, it is also compatible with its own Chipolo application, which offers unique functions. You can change the sound that Popowy is, ping, receive a notification when you accidentally leave something in the back (only on Android), use pop as a remote camera snapshot and call the lost phone, squeezing the tracker twice, even if it is set to quiet.
