Christina Applegate says she’s “in relapse right now” after battling multiple sclerosis.
The 52-year-old “Dead to Me” actress revealed herself in her podcast “MeSsy”. that the pain related to the disease makes it difficult for her to tolerate bathing, which is why she neglects her personal hygiene.
“I’ll be honest with you, I need to buy Cottonelle stock because I haven’t showered in three weeks,” Applegate told her co-host: Jamie-Lynn Sigler. “I can not stand in the shower. There isn’t any fucking way.
She added: “I have this little bench and my butt is so huge right now that I can’t sit on it, it feels like I’m sliding off of it… So I flexed my body with Cottonelle.”
Applegate, who claims he only interacts together with her her daughter Sadie, 12he said that experiencing the “bad” smell was “horrible” for everybody involved.
“Thank God I’m always alone, so no one feels me,” she said. “[Sadie’s] I always say, “Oh, Mom, that is not good.” I make her smell my armpits to induce vomiting.
The Married With Children actress announced that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021 after which suggested that she may never return to acting due to it.
She gave fans an update on her Tuesday battle, saying she’s currently in “severe pain” and that “her legs are ready” because she looks like she’s going to fall just by walking into the lavatory.
Additionally, Applegate stated that after a grueling fight, she had “no energy left” and all she could do was “lie in a dark room, watch TV and wish it would all go away.”
“An unbearable tingling sensation that manifests itself as bouts of strange tingling sensations that seem to come from the butt,” she explained. “I have never slept in 24 hours because my eye is doing something weird and each time I close my eye to sleep, my right eye starts shifting.
“[I] “I’m definitely going to have to go there and meet someone because I’m a little scared and terrified that my eye will come out of my face or something,” she added. “I’m a little worried about it, but my legs have never been this bad, so I don’t know what’s going on.”
