Banejay UK has acquired production company Karin Mendbach Productions Limited (CMP), the producer of the global hit.
Mandabach plans to pursue a first-look development and producer deal with Benejay UK under his newly formed Conduit Productions umbrella. This means that CMP’s slate of projects and back catalog are transferred to Banje.
The group will manage all future series, spin-offs and brand ventures resulting from this IP, including the recently announced movie that is in the works at Netflix. Mandabach is attached to the film as a producer along with Steven Knight, Céline Murphy and Guy Healey.
Director Jamie Glazebrook is with the company, which will continue to operate under the new name of Garrison Drama Limited.
Mendabach has released US hits such as , , , and . She said: “As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve been fortunate enough to help secure and secure the rights to hit films that have resonated with global audiences. That was the show. And 10 years with Cillian Murphy. Imagine my joy at being able to work up to that!

The award-winning gangster drama – starring Murphy, Helen McCrory and Paul Anderson – premiered on BBC Two in 2013 to rave reviews. It debuted on Netflix a year later and moved to BBC One for its fifth season in 2019. Bunjay UK’s label Tiger Aspect has worked with CMP as co-producer for all six seasons of the show.
