The film celebrated its 25th anniversary in August.
Despite its budget of only $40 million, it made $293.4 million domestically and $672.8 million worldwide.
“At this point, there are many generations of people who have seen. [my] Different films,” the director continued.
“[Some] Only know me [the 2015 movie] Since ‘The Visit’, so they don’t even know about ‘The Sixth Sense’. So it’s wild when I think about it.
“Every movie, I feel that way — that I don’t know if it’s ever going to get made,” he continued. “I don’t know if I’ll ever make another one … if this is the last one, I want it to represent just me.”
They worked together in 2000’s “Unbreakable”. In 2016, Willis also made a post-credits cameo in “Split”.
Willis’ family recently supported another of his films – “Pulp Fiction”. His wife, Emma Hemingway Willis, and daughter Tallulah Willis (whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore) stepped out for the 2024 TCM Classic Film Festival, which opens on April 18.

Hemming Willis, 45, has spoken about her husband’s health on several occasions on social media. In January, she even called him the man of her dreams.
“How am I really feeling about today? How am I looking, by the way?” Hemingway mentioned the couple celebrating their 16th birthday a month ago. “I just got off the phone with a really lovely girlfriend who I was able to have a good cry with. It’s really important that you’re able to have someone you can trust with your feelings. Instead of just bottling them up and putting your best foot forward and just soldiering through things, which is my tendency.
“Holidays are hard. Birthdays are hard,” she continued. “But for me this year it’s really been about community, community and making connections. And I just want to say that it’s been my lifeline and I want to thank you for that.
The couple met in 2007 and tied the knot two years later. They are parents to 11-year-old Mabel and 9-year-old Evelyn.

In January, Moore spoke briefly about her ex with Andy Cohen.
“What message do you have for people who have family members with dementia? Who is caring for them or their lives?” Cohen, 55, asked Moore on his SiriusXM show “Radio Andy.”
“I think the most important thing I can share is just meeting them where they are,” she replied.
“When you let go of who they were or who you think they are. [should be]or even who you would like them to be, then you can truly live in the present and embrace the joy and love that is and all that they are, not all that they are not,” Moore said.
