Ben Affleck made a surprise appearance in the live roast of Tom Brady, but it was Affleck himself who got grilled by fans watching the Netflix special.
The Oscar winner, 51, was criticized for his speech which one fan called “unhinged” on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Viewers also speculated that Affleck underwent plastic surgery because, according to them, he looked completely different on stage.
During his speech, Affleck made an awkward quip where he called out social media users who criticize Brady, 46.
“The fans have your back. You guys out there talking s––t, well, behind your f––king keyboard, that doesn’t make you a fan. That makes you a bitch,” he added. said.
Affleck also said of Brady and other sports players who give it their all on the field and read the comments online.
