Nottingham Forest remain dangerously near the Premier League relegation zone after Matheus Cunha’s second-half equalizer for Wolves denied Nuno Espirito Santo’s victory at the City Ground.
A 2-2 draw gave Forest a degree ahead of 18th-placed Luton Town, which lost to Manchester City 5-1.
Elsewhere, Brentford eased relegation fears with a 2-0 victory over bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United, who are 10 points from safety with six games remaining.
Nineteenth-placed Burnley took the lead against Brighton with just over 1 / 4 of an hour remaining, but a disastrous own goal by goalkeeper Arijanet Muric left the Clarets firmly entrenched in the relegation zone, six points from safety.
Crystal Palace are eight points clear of the deficit due to their 1-0 win over Liverpool, with most teams having a game in hand.
Everton, who appealed their last two-point deduction for breaking the Premier League’s financial rules, he will go to Chelsea on Monday.

BBC Sport takes a more in-depth have a look at the situation at the bottom of the Premier League.
Burnley ‘beyond positive’ – but is time running out?
Burnley assistant manager Craig Bellamy, who replaced the suspended Vincent Kompany against the Seagulls, says the Clarets still imagine they will get out of trouble this season.
However, statistics suggest their likelihood is slim, with Opta giving them a 98.8% probability of relegation.
“The belief that the players have and the belief in them will allow next week to take care of itself,” Bellamy told BBC Match of the Day. “We are very positive and still think we have a chance to do something.”
Opta’s model suggests that the battle is definitely between Forest in seventeenth and Luton in 18th, with everyone else having lower than a 6% probability of survival or relegation, depending on their current position.

14. Crystal Palace | 0 | 14th place – 33 points |
15.Brentford | 0 | fifteenth place – 32 points |
16. Everton | 5 | sixteenth place – 27 points |

19. Burnley | 99 | 19. – 20 points |
20. Sheffield United | 99 | twentieth – 16 points |
Forest boss Nuno described the draw with Wolves as a “missed opportunity”, adding: “We were the better team today and should have won the game.
“We created enough chances to win the game. It will be a fight until the end of the season and we are here to give our all.”
But it’s complicated…
While Forest four-point deduction for violating the Profit and Sustainability Principles (PSR), they filed an appeal against this decision, which can complicate the matter.
Everton were handed a 10-point deduction in November, which was reduced to 6 on appeal in February for breaches of PSR rules over a three-year period as much as and including 2021-22.
However, they were charged again in January over alleged breaches of their accounts through 2022-23, leading to Monday’s two-point deduction. Everton said they’d appeal against the decision.
Any appeals could extend the process until May 24, per week after the season ends on May 19, even though it is believed any decision will be made before deadline day.
